Founded in 1983 in Leipzig, with a break in 1989 due to the flight of some musicians to Frankfurt am Main, concerts took
place in 1991 under the name HELLZAPOPPIN with Frieder Hüttig (Bildstörung) and were active again in 1992 as NEU ROT.
